With more holes than a sieve, this story just doesn't hold water, but that said, I've always thought it was just a really great tale. One of my faves.

Yah, when I read about this in Jessup's book, many moons ago, I found it intriguing in the extreme, and it is a good tale.

The original event may have been a trip back from time, instigated by the Navy, which has its hands into everything from UFOs to the weird things going on in the oceans.

But I digress....sort of.

The ironic thing is, there are now scientific advances being made (quite recently) on the frontiers of cloaking and shielding.
