UFOs and the Extraterrestrial Message

ufoex.jpg

A new book, UFOs and the Extraterrestrial Message by Richard Lawrence, will be published by CICO Books in September 2010. It is a unique investigation of cosmic communication that presents evidence for extraterrestrial contact in a whole new light, examining how these benign beings might offer humanity a rare opportunity for spiritual evolution.

  • Mr Lawrence is, or was, a spokesman for the Aetherius Society that flourished in the UK between the 60s and 80s. I do not know if it still exists.

  • Christopher:

I think Nick Redfern may be interviewing Mr. Lawrence.

I'll see if he can find out.

  • Would be interesting to chart the progression (and regressions) of ETs from invaders, to spiritual gurus, to ruthless abductors and back again. Are we in a post-Grey moment now? Are ETs spreading the love again?

  • Fustar:

ETs are like God -- if we humans don't pay attention to them, they disappear (back into the ether).

  • Or maybe they just got sick of constantly negative media portrayals and angrily buggered off back to Alpha Centauri.

But (semi)seriously - they seem to be just about clinging to the fringes now. Can't see a way back into the mainstream for 'em. Other than neo-contactee-ism (tagging itself onto the always vibrant/lucrative self-help/new age wave).

  • I agree fustar,

    A mainstream resurgence seems unlikely.

And the collective ufological mind appears to think likewise.
