Call for Extraterrestrial Probe

Former U. S, Representative pushes for government action in search for the existence (proof?) of extraterrestrials.

She also wants to uncover the alleged cover-up of the Roswell incident.

Detroit NEWS story

  • She also wants to get paid her $20,000 so she can bail her son out of jail.

I'm surprised you're giving this ridiculous circus any serious notice or play at all, Rich.

    Here's a much more useful - and realistic - link: http://www.parapolitical.com/2013/04/ufo-circus-returns-to-national-press-club/

  • Paul:

The Detroit NEWS piece presented here comes from a columnist's blog who thought it had merit.

Sure, it's loony, but almost everything UFO-related is loony.

I've generally allowed input here, original and derivative, that exploits all aspects of "ufology" -- using the word in the Gilles Fernandez sense.

(I'm not going to act like your pal, Errol Bruce-Knapp at UFO UpDates, who has banned a fellow for mentioning the Alien Autopsy film. I may be dictatorial but I'm not a Fascist.)

  • The event does have merit. Bassett's White House petition effort ran its' course and now he has this idea which will continue to generate a lot of attention. I applaud him on this.

  • Well, if nothing else I found a comment by a reader of the article quite amusing, as it points out that the $20,000 paid to the political hacks and has-beens on the "panel," when divided by the 30 hours they are apparently "working," comes to... 666!!

    Perfect. ;-)

  • Hahahahaha

So there is a humorous god after all.

  • So, former Rep. Kilpatrick enters Ufology in this manner. No big whoop. Ironic that someone in particular would take umbrage of that, considering that someone entered ufology by criticizing and taking advantage of his uncle-in-law who's well-established and respected in the 'community'. Oh the hypocrisy...
