Kevin Randle and Mogul Balloons

Kevin Randle has given his blog over to Roswell’s Mogul balloon controversy again.

This is worse than my bringing up Roswell itself over and over again.

Mr. Randle and his ill-named Dream Team is supposed to be working on new Roswell detritus.

That Mogul (or the Ramey memo he mentioned in his Paracast appearance recently) is on the Dream Team grill doesn’t invite trust in the DT project.

Mogul and the debris field at the Foster ranch have been discarded by astute Roswell researchers.

The incident that sparked the 1947 “event” took place north of Roswell and east of the Foster Ranch.

Mac Brazel’s dalliance with “debris” is an irrelevant sidebar, and Mr. Randle knows this because of a discovery by the Dream Team that dumps the Mogul, Brazel, balloon fiasco in the Roswell garbage.

You’ll see, at Mr. Randle’s blog, that David Rudiak will weigh in, along with CDA, and maybe Gilles Fernandez and Lance Moody to rehash the Mogul scenario one more time.

Why is Mr. Randle dilly-dallying with Mogul when he is supposed to be scrounging around, like his DT members, for new or overlooked Roswell goodies?

  • Speaking of balloons at Roswell - Roswell, Operation Highjump and the Opium Wars: True History You Never Learned with Douglas Dietrich (3:16:00) In depth interview with former D.o.D. research librarian Douglas Dietrich. Douglas was exposed to highly secretive documentation as part of his role to catalogue and destroy items at the Presidio Military Base in San-Francisco. This base was essentially the venue for the creation and hosting of the United Nations until it moved to New York, where it remains today.

This 3 hour discussion was divided into 3 sections:

    - A new take on the 'UFO crash' at Roswell in 1947 and it's role in the post-war era.
The fate of the Axis powers,
    - British and US roles in Antartica and 'Operation High Jump'
    - Roots of narco-trafficking as a black-budget source, Opium Wars, Tesla and Yugoslavia

Although some of his perspectives and historical revisionism may appear suspect to some, there is no doubting that Mr Dietrich has an unparalleled ability to process a given context highly fluidly with the ability to weave connections seamlessly between them. If you follow-up this discussion with some of your own research, you'll find more often than not that his ideas are valid. Where possible we attempted to clarify what was found in the documents at Presidio and what elements were from his additional investigation or experience of the various points made. @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI9EkqZqTVU

  • "Mr. Randle and his ill-named Dream Team is supposed to be working on new Roswell detritus."

But in order to do this he has to banish the old detritus to the trash can first. This is exactly what he has now done (so he hopes).

  • Don't lose sight of the fact that a blueprint drawing of the Mogul array was published in the original 1980 'The Roswell Incident', by Berlitz and Moore, carrying the label (as I recall) NYU Balloon Project.

....so rehashing is what its all about.

Really now, what else can the Dream Team be but a publicity stunt to hopefully get a cable 'reality' show on the order of Ghosthunters or Stormchasers???

  • CDA:

The Mogul balloon debris has been made irrelevant by a posting here that showed regular weather balloons descended and were on the ground in and near Roswell in July.

What happened that provoked the flying disc press release had nothing to do with Mogul or any other balloons.

Mogul has already been "garbaged" but I know you skeptics, CDA, want another go at the topic, as it seems to make the Roswell incident mundane or prosaic.

Mr. Randle needs to concentrate on his Dream Team research.

Dredging up the old controversies, which he does again at his blog (Mogul) and did in his Paracast appearance (The Ramey memo and White Sands lack of accident reports) shows his need to regurgitate things he's well versed about, just as you like the topic because you are well-versed in the matters too.

This gives you guys a patina of smartness or expertise, but Mogul, Ramey's memo et al. are items that take us nowhere.

Nuanced items, some Bragalia finds, and the new discovery, which is sub rosa lately, need and airing.

Mr. Randle is just treading Roswell water or vamping, not pursuing or presenting what is truly new in the Roswell saga. and you, CDA, are complicit in that vamping.

  • Chuck:

I get that same impression -- the Dream Team is looking for another go at fame or fortune, using Roswell as their ticket to same.

  • One more thought on the Ramey Memo:

What I find fascinating about the whole controversy is NOT what it does or does not say.

Rather it is the ability to use commonly available consumer digital hardware and software, more than half a century after the fact, to take a serious run at recovering information that seemed lost in time....

All in all, it seems like the beginning of some Michael Crichton novel.

While they ignore the Mogul balloon debris on the floor.

  • ....while you ignore the real-time CE-3 in our midst, Number 6 !!!!

  • I discovered something the other day that I just have to bring up here...

Plus it's some refreshing (unintended I think) Roswell humour that we could all do with, a reminder not to take ourselves and this whole Roswell circus too seriously.

A very recent crop circle formation from the UK (and a huge one near Avebury, Wiltshire), which can be seen here

Anyway it has been interpreted as a hidden message about the Roswell crash, and such meaning has been imputed to this formation by a California scientist no less! He brings in the Sumerian 'Boat of Heaven' motif and well read for yourselves

In all seriousness, it's worth keeping an eye on the crop circle formations (technically agriglyphs), because they are the best landscape art in the world today, nothing else can compare. All very impressive. People miss the point arguing about who or what is creating them, this art is amazing, at multiple levels.

Maybe Rich you could even put up a post or two on the crop circles and your take on it, a change of pace so to speak. And then we can all argue about that instead of Roswell! Actually there are certainly considerable overlaps between the ufology circus and the crop circle circus, especially when you look at the eccentric folk who get attracted to both phenomena. And yes often enough the same people, and talk of the same or similar wacky conspiracies colour both topics.

PS Some interesting formations so far this year in Italy.

  • Lawrence...

While I'm not a crop circle aficionado, we have a few posts and videos online at some of our blogs.

You might scour our "review" blog -- http://the-explicator.blogspot.com -- for one or the RRRGroup blog for others.

  • Just as I predicted, David Rudiak has weighed in, and CDA couldn't help himself, and has weighed in too.

Those responses perpetuate the Mogul nonsense, which has nothing to do with the Roswell event, nothing.

  • I managed to fit it in during the final moments of the England-Australia test match (i.e. cricket not baseball). Now you know what my priorities really are.

By Blogger cda, at Sunday, July 14, 2013

  • Okay, CDA, you get a pass....

Cricket, huh.....much better than American baseball.

(Now if we could only get David Rudiak to be enthused.)

  • Whatever Randle and DR are going on about w/re to Mogul this time, I doubt very much if they've got it right. They have a special talent for convincing themselves of their bizarre conclusions based on misinformation, misunderstanding, wishful speculations and the usual logical fallacies.
