Barry Goldwater on the General Curtis LeMay [UFO] Scolding

Giuliano Marinkovic, provided at UFO UpDates, a link to a YouTube video of Senator Barry Goldwater telling about his request to General Curtis LeMay for access to the alleged "secret [Blue] room" at Wright-Patterson Air Base in Dayton, Ohio.

Click HERE to see/hear the video.

This should settle the matter, once and for all!

  • Interesting!

    Notice that:

    1. No mention of Roswell. The date of this Goldwater-LeMay contact was in fact 1960-63, i.e. well before Roswell came into the public arena.

    2. No mention of any court-martial. This idea always was dotty. Question: who invented the whole 'court-martial' idea anyway?

    3. A UFO reportedly landed (not crashed). No geographical location mentioned. Perhaps it was the Adamski landing!

  • Yah, CDA...

Goldwater's interest seems to have been about UFOs generally, not Roswell at all, and something he heard about a landing.

It would be interesting to know what landing was referenced.

The person interviewing him or taping missed a story.

And that Roswell went dead so fast either goes to your skeptical view that there was nothing to it in the first place....or...the press was as laggard as the guy or woman doing the Goldwater "interview."

No one seems to have asked any questions or the right questions when on a UFO news beat back then, or even now.

(I saw this during the 1966 Ann Arbor "swamp gas" fiasco: once Hynek proffered his goofy explanation, the matter was over as far as the press was concerned.

This pissed off Frank Mannor, who was the farmer claiming he saw the craft but was shut out of the loop after Hynek's "solution."

I think something similar happened at Roswell; once the balloon explanation was provided, the press left town and the story.

Seriously???? C'mon dear.... is not the 1947 Roswell Daily Record, and 1947 ABC Radio your so-called 'public arena'?

....your mewling becomes you not, vile 'expert'....

  • At the time Sen Goldwater was also head of the Senate Arms Forces committee and to deny his access to certain areas (blue room) at Curtis Wright and being cursed out by Gen LeMay for even asking tells you all you need to know about what is in there.
