The Dark Matter/Ecker "radio" interview with Kevin Randle

Kurt Peters has provided (via a comment in another posting here) the link to the Don Ecker/Dark Matters interview with Kevin Randle about the recent Roswell slide brouhaha:

http://www.dqrm.com/showlist/dmr2.php

Kevin gives a precis of his Dream Team's Roswell research and tells about how the slide information became grist for this blog and others, implicating Nick Redfern as the guy who, initially, spilled the beans about the slides.

Give a listen, plugging your ears when Ecker speaks....he's a bit loud. Kevin is distant, in sound and details.

  • The show/interview is just awful, filled with lots of irrelevant crap and noise, but stick with it, if possible....so you can get Kevin Randle's present take on the slides and Roswell.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but where or where does anyone say: 1, How many slides are there? 2. Color or B&W? 3. What body features do we get to see? 4. General description of the face, eyes, ears, etc. 5. damage to body? These seem like natural questions but I don't think that I heard them...and none of them require any "analysis". I know Kevin has not seen the slides but he must have asked these 5 questions of Redfern. Since the slides are "out" can someone answer them?

  • Dominick:

From Kevin's e-mails to me, some answers to your questions that the DT don't want you to have (what follows are Kevin's words):

    1. "there is no indication where the pictures were taken. It was a morgue of some kind but when and where doesn't seem to be in the cards. There are a couple of signs in the pictures, but they are angled and impossible to read"

    2. "the date code on the slides is correct for 1947... (but) Kodak recycled the codes so the date could have been 1927, 1947 or 1967... they hadn't determined with the slides had been exposed other than the film had been manufactured in 1947 or 1927 or 1967."

    3. "Two color slides of the alien bodies"

    4. "I have learned that the man with the photographs is not the man who took them. The man with them got them from his sister who was cleaning out an attic in Sedona, Arizona but the sister was helping her boyfriend in the cleaning who worked for an estate service. (Convoluted enough for you?) The slides were found in a box in a separate envelop taped to an inner box lid, away from other slides. The box apparently belonged to the second wife of the photographer… the other slides in the box contained pictures from that “era” including one of Eisenhower (which is obviously five years too late)."

  • ...ok RRRGroup -

I have begun to actually listen to the interview, and my first observation is that it's WAY easier to listen if you simply pretend that Randle is being interviewed by the character Peter Griffin from that 'Family Guy' cartoon, given Ecker's ham-handed hubris....

  • Yah, KP...

    Ecker is a self-aggrandizing, loud-mouth ham.

Not a bad guy, just a common fellow without credible, dignified cachet.

    Kevin Randle deserved better.

  • OK... now that I have actually forced myself to listen to this interview:

...to criticize Ecker's clumsy and abrasive broadcast technique would be even more cruel than even I am comfortable with... heh...

BUT, I did notice that Randle brag(alia)s at length about his new found skepticism about trusting supposed ex-military 'witnesses' like Salas or French, yet his slavish devotion to the stories of Rick Tungate, supposed ex-USAF Col.; Karl Pflock, supposed ex-Marine (just like Lee Harvey Oswald!) AND supposed ex-CIA management official; Frank Kaufmann, supposed Superspy; and of course the ex-AAF PIO Walter Haut who 'just happened' to refer Randle and Schmitt to the guaranteed participant named Kaufmann, and 'just happened' to give Randle the 509th yearbook to rundown all the 'witnesses'...

    ...see a pattern yet?

  • Well thank you guys. At least I now know I am a clumsy and ham-handed broadcaster. And please advise just what have you all done on this case ... lately? Inquiring minds want to know ... ?
