This is an interesting article that seemingly is pertinent to direct experience versus observation from a distance or making critical assumptions based on how we think things "should" work. It reminds me of a time when I was dating my wife to be just driving around seeing the sights. At some point it was apparent we were lost in relation to our starting point. I said we had to turn North. She said, "This does not look like North."I said "What does North look like?"And so it goes.

I think the pertinent question would be: If Leonardo got it wrong back then, as according to the article, would he do differently today?
