One theoretical totem versus another with the backdrop that all knowledge by it's nature is incomplete. These blobs of congealed knowledge then free falls into the realm of social politics. One fuzzy belief system as a matter of defensive reductionism competes with another comforting blockade as a consensus arbiter of taste. This sounds like Ufology as an extension of the ideological warfare all around us.Realism can be surrealistic.

This reminds me of the Higg's bosun..."The God particle." Higgs never did actually referred to his discovery as such as he, being an atheist, did not want to offend those with religious convictions.Despite the article being cited in the post, it seems to always come down to such discoveries actually inching towards the "intelligent design" theory whether the author realizes or not. It's always a question towards "causation."
