I don’t get it!

Why is Kevin Randle persisting in flogging the slides imbroglio and furthering comments at his blog that have descended into a kind of schizophrenic bombast by one peripheral UFO guy abetted by a few others, including the inestimable CDA who should know better?

Mr. Randle, I repeat, has ufological cachet. Why does he keep trying to destroy that cachet?

He has the ability, like no other, to curb the ongoing slides nonsense. Why doesn’t he?

What’s his game plan?

Go to Kevin’s blog and read the current comments. I see a manifestation of psychosis and think Tim Hebert might agree.

A few UFO regulars have dropped out, thankfully, realizing that they were immersed in a kind of insanity, but a few have stuck with it….CDA among them.

Sure, one can ignore or avoid Kevin’s blog, but it’s usually – usually – a source of UFO edification. And I miss that.

  • You say I "should know better". Actually I believe I do know better than the one guy who insists he knows who the Roswell slides hoaxers are (all from the UK would you believe!)

He also knows the true identities of various people who post under pseudonyms on Kevin's blog. Or so he claims. What a fantastic guy, don't you agree? He may 'arrive' on this blog one day.

But ss Gilles would say, that's ufoology.

  • Christopher...

You know how much I admire you and your moderate skepticism, but you have become an enabler for the goofy guy making absurd accusations about people commenting at Kevin's venue and goofy-ass recriminative remarks about the slides people.

He should be ignored and/or his commentary not allowed by blog moderator Kevin.

After all, the guy's comments are psychotic-like and not helpful in any way.

Yes, that's ufology, as Gilles tells us, but it shouldn't be.

  • It's simply amazing that all are arguing akin as to "whether the sun will rise the next morning or not."

I posted yesterday in my blog:

"If one ventures over to Kevin Randle's blog, the seductive power of the "will to believe" is currently being displayed in full force. The comments rendered on Randle's site display magnificently the art of the circular argument and/or the vain attempts just to argue a point to death regardless of the evidence that has been offered and accepted by most sensible individuals. It is as if Occam's Razor has been defecated on and tossed aside. Yes, I'm well aware that Occam has been discarded by Ufologist and ET believers, since it's basic and primordial premise is to separate the logical from the illogical. I assume that such thoughts are not to be considered as sacrosanct."

That about sums it up for me. I attempting to move my blog subject matter to a more respectable topic matter...early Christian writings and thoughts. The apostolic fathers make a hell of a lot more sense...

  • The Roswell slides, while now a farce, created a lot of new "excitement" in the community. Ufology has been missing something interesting for some time.

I think people are still trying to keep that interest the slides generated so ufology just doesn't go back to old reports, images of little lights and hoaxes. Take it away again and what is there left?

  • Stephen:

It's not exactly the slides brouhaha I'm griping about but, rather, the insane commentary that has ensued and is still going on, unabated or moderated by Kevin and others.

It's the maniacs who've come out of the woodwork so to speak.

  • BTW : a vintage photograph of the mummy have been found few hours ago.
May the little boy soul rests in peace now, Mister Maussan.

By Blogger Gilles Fernandez, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • Though I hesitate to take this further, the little boy has no chance of resting in peace while a certain Mr George 'Know-all' continues on Kevin's blog.

By Blogger cda, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • CDA:

Who is the George guy? He's got some serious psychological problems.

By Blogger RRRGroup, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • George claimed one or two weeks ago in a forum that my good and French friend Nab Lator (I meet him several times IRL) who decyphered the placard in our RSRG is part of this scenario à la Alien Autopsy hoax and part of Dew "team"+ the Britannic team.
    Wow, fascinating imagination...

And Maussan is claiming in his twitter the new photograph is... a painting!
Wow, Leon Festinger if you should read all of this...

By Blogger Gilles Fernandez, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • George is a bit of a mystery man to me. I know he appeared on TV long ago when the crop circle fever was at its height and accused two circlemakers of being government disinformation agents (!). Otherwise I know virtually nothing about him, or his involvement in ufo-related matters.

Kevin does moderate things to some extent, in that he deletes postings that he dislikes or are off-topic, though there seems no consistency in the latter.

What has happened to AJB lately? Is he reconsidering his role in ufology (and Roswell in particular) after this slides shambles?

By Blogger cda, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • AJB is back, rehabilitated by Kevin with a mummy find (Jose Caravaca's) as if AJB was a mumnmy advocate from the get go.

It's shameful all round, by Kevin and AJB.

By Blogger RRRGroup, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • No, AJB wrote a new article wrongly titled "THE “ROSWELL SLIDES” MUMMY FOUND By Anthony Bragalia" and available in Kevin Blog.

He found nothing, it is not his work or finding, nada from him...
That's really disguting, because it will become AJB solves the Roswell slides or something like this as the last time.

    Well, that's ufology after all.

  • > Maussan is claiming in his twitter

Maussan blocked me on Twitter. I am missing out on the madness!

(I am puzzled by the block. Jaime responded to all of my questions but one, though with typical disingenuous evasions. Perhaps it was the one direct question about how many people subscribed to the May 5 pay per view. The number would be a fact, not an opinion, so maybe Maussan could not bring himself to flat out lie. After all, someone out there does know the number.)

  • Terry:

    You're falling behind in relevancy.

See the Bragalia absorbing of Jose Caravaca's early mummy find here or at Kevin's blog.

By Blogger RRRGroup, at Wednesday, June 10, 2015

  • When was I relevant?

As for Bragalia, I am aware. Someone tweeted me the pic before AJB's post went up. No need for me to jump into that; others will handle it. And I am so weary of Anthony's constant foolishness.
