  • Ancient Astronauts: "piped like carbon monoxide into the homes of its viewers"--HA!

Given that Yeats read detective novels and Wittgenstein attended matinee showings of Westerns in their downtime, I wouldn't feel totally guilty about what pleasure might be gleaned from the Blue Book series....

  • The flaws in the BB series are so egregious that it will be difficult to enjoy the program, guiltily or not.

  • Given that "Blue Book" has yet to air, how can you point to any flaws?

Moreover, it's not a documentary, but a drama, or, at best, a docudrama.

At any rate, I don't got History, so, for me, it's a moot point.... Let those who view it, and get some pleasure, enjoy it; for those who find no pleasure, they don't have to view it.

  • History has run extensive teases, many making Hynek into a fool.

Such fol-de-rol adds the tin-hat meme to a larger audience.

    Does society need more nonsense?

  • Who's gonna watch it exactly? No self-respecting UFO buff would & those with little or no interest in the subject likewise.

  • Well, Doc, as a self-respecting UFO buff I viewed the first episode with no little interest and even more pleasure. Erudite response on request (if I'm up to it) (ya buncha sourpusses!).
