Project Blue Book’s last show of its first season; finally!

Copyright 2019, InterAmerica, Inc.
The History Channel’s Project Blue Book ended its first season bastardization of UFO events and the real Project Blue Book, along with a J Allen Hynek and his wife on Tuesday 3/12/19 with a grimace-producing representation of the 1952 Washington D.C. flying saucer intrusion(s).

You know my feelings about this travesty.

But let me end (for this year’s airings) my irritating (for some of you) criticisms of this ghastly TV series by chastising Ufology’s oligarchs for their support of this folly.

To me it has been shameful that notable UFO enthusiasts have almost all sat on their hands, choosing not to excoriate the disgustingly inaccurate show.

Like Republicans who won’t stand up to Chump Trump because one shouldn’t go against their party -- sort of like the German people who didn’t disown Hitler because he was head of the Nazi party – Ufology’s top-notchers allowed, without complaint, a show that made a mockery of every UFO sighting it could get its hand on.

Moreover, the show demeaned a real gentleman and honorable man (J Allen Hynek) by making him into a dramatic buffoon, dragging his wife into the mud too.

The whole of the Ufology community – even the naysayers of the show – should be ashamed because no one stood up and said “The Emperor has no clothes.”

  • To say the least, it was pretty awful. Worse: it was boring.

  • Here's my take on it all, from an article I wrote for Mysterious Universe, after the first episode aired:
