UFO Conjectures

Saturday, November 20, 2021

Ah, YouTube, a pain in the ass but then.....

After watching Dr. Todd Grande offer his take on the Navy pilots involved in the AATIP videos....
....wherein his takes on UFO witnesses were more withering than mine: lower-class people, with mental deficiencies and errant perceptive abilities, this popped up on my TV:
Now we're getting somewhere, or are we?

  • I have trouble understanding the current zeitgeist. Why is it socially acceptable for someone such as Dr. Grande to spurn people for being "lower class" as if this renders them subhuman? Isn't this supposed to be the sort of thing people get up in arms about nowadays? And it's more than a bit rich coming from him. Grande has a Ph.D in "Counselor Education and Supervision" from "Regent University." An accurate but less-than-polite characterization of him would be "credentialed mediocrity." He is hardly one to stand in judgment of others for mental or social inferiority.

Apologies for being rude. But this sort of stuff does tend to get under my skin.

  • To clarify: I was rude to Dr. Grande.

RR: You know I have only the highest respect for you and your brilliant and provocative writing.

  • I'm in agreement with you Martin, even as I keep putting on the squeeze about the great unwashed......my concern being, mostly, about the lack of cultural interest by most.

I was a little shocked by Dr. Todd's generalization, however.

  • Dr. Todd: we don't have a UFO problem, we have a witness problem. Welcome to 1950's think.

Re: the Elizondo statement. It's chilling, and also crazy. Why would he deliberately put himself out on a limb like that when he can't back up the claim?

I'm still on the fence about the guy.
